MADRID OPEN 24/7

The region of Madrid is in the process of passing legislation which will allow retailers to open 24/7 without the need to apply for a license. The regional Government hopes this measure, a first in Spain, will spur activity and create new jobs.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

It has come to our attention that our Firm's name and contact details are being used in a series of letters which purport our Firm as allegedly representing clients in inheritance issues or the winning of lottery tickets and requesting monies to the addressees of these letters. 

In light of this situation our Firm would like to make the following statement:

1.- Such letters are fraudulent and are clearly trying to make use of our good name and reputation to make them seem legitimate. 

2.- We do not solicit monies to people we do not represent professionally. 

3.- We are not connected in any way with the people behind this scam. 

4.- We have notified the Spanish police of such letters which are currently being investigated. 

5.- Should you receive one of these letters please disregard its contents and kindly send us a copy of both the letter and its envelope for the purposes of the investigation.

We truly regret any inconveniences this problem may have caused; we are working hard to put it to an end and are grateful for your understanding and cooperation.

MADRID: ABIERTA LAS 24 HORAS LOS 365 DÍAS DEL AÑO

La Asamblea de Madrid aprobó ayer jueves 7 de junio de 2012 el Proyecto de Ley de Dinamización de la Actividad Comercial de la Comunidad de Madrid por el que el comerciante podrá, libremente, abrir  24 horas los 365 días del año y no necesitará de una licencia de apertura para abrir su comercio. 

Lo que se pretende es dinamizar de esta forma la actividad comercial minorista y reducir las limitaciones que actualmente existían para el inicio y libre ejercicio de la actividad comercial.
